happy, joyous and free

Welcome to Lambda Dallas

Since 1978, the Lambda Dallas Group of Alcoholics Anonymous has carried the message to everyone with a desire to stop drinking. Founded in the heart of Dallas’ LGBTQ neighborhood Oak Lawn, Lambda Dallas has helped thousands of people recover — and stay recovered — from alcoholism.

Lambda hosts meetings several times a day.

Most meetings are at Center 12, 8204 Elmbrook Drive, Suite 196, Dallas, TX 75247. Some meetings are hybrid or on Zoom only. They are noted below.

Most meetings are considered “closed.” Only individuals with a desire to stop drinking may attend. If a meeting is listed as “open” any one may attend.

Our Seventh Tradition

Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.

Lambda accepts digital contributions via Venmo, Zelle and PayPal.

Our Venmo account is @dallaslambda. For Zelle or PayPal, please use the email address DallasLambdaAD@gmail.com.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
